During his lifetime, Guru Nanak travelled a distance of over 28,000 kilometres, which is more than half the equatorial circumference of the Earth. His journeys covered the North, South, East and West as he embarked on his odysseys. He traveled and met many people, and touched all of their lives. He shared his message of love and peace, and his legacy carries on till date.
In 2019, the Divine Steps Festival provides you all an opportunity to follow in his footsteps, carry on his legacy and share his message of universal brotherhood and oneness.
To celebrate this momentous milestone, we will be running a walkathon to help raise money for two Australian Charity: Father Riley’s Youth off the Streets and Can Too Foundation.
Register for the walkathon: https://www.cantoo.org.au/event/divine-steps-festival-2019
The 3.3 km walkathon will take you around the best of Sydney's stunning shoreline. Taking around 40 minutes to complete, the walk is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. There will be four departure times through the day at 10am, 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm, so you can pick the most convenient time for you.
Get sponsored by your friends and family. We encourage all fundraisers to aim to raise at least $100 each for these two incredible charities and make a real difference in the community around you.
